    i know.. it's been a loooong while since i last updated... come to think of it, it's been a looong while since i last came online!!! haha.. been really busy.. and out late at night.. ;) finally 18 k!!!! so gonna enjoy the experiences opened up when u're 18!!! hee hee.. first up, my clubbin experience with my mum n my darling bf! muackz! :D

    Went to Devils' bar with mum, aunts and Shaun! :D felt really cool to be let in after they checked my id.. initially din rwally dare to do much.. sat on the seat til mum told me drinkin and sitting would lead to all the fats goin to the ass! :s got up n was urged to go dance with shaun.. hahaha.. had to be literally pushed to the dance floor.. but after that it was pretty cool! :D had loadsa fun!!! mum ordered a vodka cranberry as well as wine for me.. she had whisky.. and as it was ladie's night, the gals smuggled drinks for the guys! :P at the end of it all, mum seemed to be wasted! hahahhahaha.. she was speaking utter gibberish!!! and we lost our way to the car park.. :S mum's fren swerved left n right whilst driving.. think he was jus playin along with my mum though.. nnn.... hahaa.. mum picks the most opportune time to look around.. hahahhaa... luckily she was drunk.. sent him home den i fell asleep obn the way home... was a great experience albeit the many hands randomly grabbing and caucasian guy hu stopped me on my way to get a drink and offered to buy me one.. (to whom i obviously declined).. was also taught never to say 'excuse me' in a club.. jus push! hahahhaha...

    On to my next experience.. first time with frens! went to Club Momo with bin(thankfully), nige, geraldine from bin's class, and her frens.. all GREAT ppl to hang around with! the gals r great fun!!!! and bin hong was a gem that friday night... he already wasn't feelin well but came anyway.. even met earlier jus to chat... waited for the rest before we embarked on the road to momo!!! once we entered (bouncer din even check my id, dammit!) hung around til the music really started thumping and before long we were ON THE DANCE FLOOR! there, i learnt a few lessons bout clubbin... and guys... even singaporean guys..

    1. Be prepared to be touched anywhere and everywhere
    2. NEVER wear a skirt.. hands tend to wander where they shouldn't in the dark and noisy dance floor
    3. Dirty Dancing = Guy comin behind you, holding on to ur waist, and dancing along with u whilst rubbin his *ahem* against you
    4. Singaporean guys are no more conservative den the average American
    5. Guys in striped shirts are usually sticky and hang around a targeted gal
    6. Not to go up on a platform in previously mentioned skirt
    7. HEELS = HELL
    8. Ignore guys askin u to go up higher platforms to dance
    9. Nigel is a hopeless protector when he's dancing :P (kiddin laaa... jus a lil.. :P:P)
    10. ALWAYS have a bin hong around!!!! hahhaah..

    It can be said that that night bin hong was my knight in shining armour! (he must be gagging now.. :P) hahhahaa.. shifted me from one side of him to another.. abour 4 times! to avoid all those stupid guys.. and put his arm around me to pose as a bf to deter those he sees as potential 'stickers'(guys hu inch close to the gals)... Thanks bin!!! :D saved me from the dirty dancer too!!! phew!!! nige was in a world of his own.. :P but he helped later on.. with the swatting of the hands.. so did geraldine.. thanks guys! the other gals taught me tips on dealing with that kina guy.. overall had fun!!! it lasted til 5 den we submitted to exhaustion.. but i think i lost weight (i hope.. :P) cos my white halter kept droppin! hahaha.. a gal can wish... :P cabbed home.. someone was worried.. no need to worry! i'm fine! See! :D:D cheers!

    Wanna noe how it's like luggin a 90+kg guy all da way to the bus stop? DID i mention guy? i meant, DRUNK, STUBBORN and not to mention HEAVY mule! ok.. here's the lowdown on da day...

    Morning: Diploma lesson.. not much to say.. except... BORIINNGG!!! dunno how i'm ever gonna catch up!!!

    Afternoon: Christmas choir practice. Feelin really tired n irritable.. not a good idea.. haha... overall was good.. loved the hyms.

    Night: here it comes! the well awaited night time... spotlight please!!! hahhaa.. met up with them all at vivo.. ig was surprisingly early! or maybe cos they met up earlier or somethin.. i dunno.. anyway.. they passed me a WHITE (think purity) rose and a card... ig quipped "wah lao eh.. the card so ex la! nah! like that good enough for you already"... my reaction was a sceptical look... haha.. den we went on to choose beer to torture ourselves with.. resulted in 6 carlsberg cans and 1 carlsberg SPECIAL brew (which basically sux), and ig got himself a green apple vodka... den went to the food centre to eat... read the card and here r some excerpts from the card.

    Leng> Can't believe we have survived through our O levels... now it's our A level... and remember our pact to meet up with Cat and Taran overseas.... (yes leng.. wont and cant forget!!! cant wait for the union of the nuts again!!!! love u too babe!)

    Ig> you're finally legal and ready to hit sex clubs with those Little Women in Alcott's novel... and you've been such an endearing sweetheart... (aww.. ig, i noeee... :P hee hee.. Little Women is a nice novel!!!! don't mutilate Louisa's work!)

    Bin> (i can actually type the whole thing cos it's so short!) This place is too noisy and i have nothing to say to you. BUt whatever, they have more or less written a hell lot anyway. (riiight... ig thought his name was 'Bulldog'! haha... nnnn... i hate his footnotes.. :P

    annndd.. get this! the front of the lovely Hallmark card read... "Happy 18th Birthday to a SPECIAL YOUNG WOMAN"!!! i can now be considered a young woman!!! hahahhaah...

    Den we went to eat at the food centre.. bin told leng to pass me the box.. thinkin it was finally the right thing i opened it.. to fiiinndddd... DOG FOOD!!!!!! :S:S:S so meaaann!!!! hahahaha.. told dem we'd share it when drinkin..

    Halfway through drinking at my house, i g said it was 8.15 n he had to go.. took up his bag (so did the rest), and left... but said they wanted to go up to 30th floor first.. so we did.. and dere, after almost gettin pushed off, they presented me with a lovely black dress!!! :) Thank you guys!!!!!

    den ig got drunk.. shall not embarrass him here.. hahahhaa.. (he walked into bushes and got stuck :P)

    I HATE BEER!!!!!!!! fulstop. It's GRRROOOSSS!!!!!!!!!! totally, absolutely positively DEFINITELY! let me tell the full story of.. TODAY.. hee hee...

    As usual, went to church and stuff.. den met leng at vivo to acc her to eat before the guys join us to shop for steamboat stuff. Ig was, as usual, about half an hour late.. den... the shopping began.. we started out slow as the incredibly fussy non pork non beef non prawn ig was with us making faces at every lil thing.. den he received a call.. heh heh heh.. it was truly SHOPPIN time! hee hee.. we piled PROPER steamboat food and not all that processed stuff ig calls 'food'... to ig's utter disgust later on.. hahahaha.. den we went on to the canned food section where ig threw in BAKED BEANS! like, hello! steamboat? errmmm... leng secretly took it out later.. :P hee hee.. den got ice cream and bananas for a split before reaching home... banana uncle took the bananas from the basket 'ordered for the old ppl' for us.. hee hee..


    reached home: went to admire un-hazy scenery from 30th floor... beautiful as usual.. i was reminded of all the ppl i brought up.. den went on to watch Scary movie 4 (me: again!)... prepared food whilst they watched bfore they came over.. in no time, dinner was ready and we tucked in! started out alright with lovely clear soup(courtesy of my mum)... and ended of with murky, thick, greenish soup(courtesy of the 'beloved' ig)... bin was stuffed with food and chilli, think it was the most filling and most uncomfortable meal he's ever had! haha.. n ig was filming us whilst we ate... horrible.. i looked fat.. as usual... washed up after.. or rather, ig and leng did.. hee hee,.. i prepared desert and bin cleared the table.. desert: banan split with choc chips! hee hee.. i got the small plate... fattening! hahahha.. den sat down and drank bacardi whilst watching X men 3.. stopped halfway through and changed to lil women.. before ig had the idea of playin blackjack and the loser drinks the beer(since bacardi had run out)... I got loadsa blackjacks and din have to drink much! phew.. though the pungent, bitter taste still turned me off when i DID have to drink a coupla times.. ig was the worst off.. he had to drink the most! at the end of it all, he was the ultimate loser (both literally and figuratively), staggering about and mumbling listlessly.. even put his shoes on the wrong way!!!!! hahahhahahaha.. he was DRUNK mannnn!!! walked dem all down n could barely walk straight whilst comin back up.. hahhaha.. m here in front of the com now with a headache.. could it be anythin to do with the beer? tsk.. NO MORE BEER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    it's definitely been a babes' day out with the Justice League as we did City Hall, Orchard, and Bugis JUSTICE by bringing them face to face with real life BABES!!! hahaha... all of us dressed to kill and wow-ed the crowd(they did at least... :P). The Enchantress arrived first, and had to wait half an hour for a tardy Su Storm to arrive!!! DEN, our lil miss Junior Pig!!!! Duchess right? making us wait for u to go eat! :p and...... HOURS later... The Leaning Tower arrived.. Su Storm was dressed in a hugging black tee and a goddess-like yellow skirt... absolutely stunning! n for once a skirt!!!!!!!! :P Jialin flaunted her slim silhouette in a tee and a miniskirt! AND she let down he usually tied up hair! and she wasn't the only one!!! Drea also let down her hair! with a sweet white hairband and a lovely top.. thoughhh.... she din heed our PERSONAL advice given time n again.. :P

    we window shopped til we dropped... su n jl even did some real shoppin! tried on many beautiful tops too! Su bought tees with cute catchlines on them... and jl bought a black top i though was really pretty... apart from that, we went to Arab street for dinner!!! n shishah-ed as a 'dessert'.. :p rushed back to Bugis den to catch 'The Covenant'... EXCELLENT SHOW!!!!!!!!!! oh my gosshhh!!!!! the actors rrrrr......*sizzle* hee hee... LOVE the simple yet action packed plot.... LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! :D

    blogger finally works! spent much of yesterday stressing bout PW oral presentation.. after TONNES of rehearsals, i had to screw it all up by laughing during my presentation.. dammit.. the judge understood my intention of impressing her with econs terms cos she's an econs teacher and gave me a knowing smile, causing me to laugh.. :S hope that din affect anythin.. my only consolation was that Q n A was ok... my group did well too! Su, as usual, SHINED! confident and loud.. Drea rocked too! wonderful pronounciation and pace.. and JIALIN impressed us all!
    from a meek, soft spoken girl, you have blossomed into one confident speaker with a beautiful smile! :) Q and A was tough for us all i'm sure so dun worry too much k? :)

    my group, in my opinion, is the BEST group one could ever ever have!!!! there wasn't ONE complain during our entire PW journey and we stucj by one anothern thru thick and thin, understanding each other's reasons for not being able to make it for meetings and such.. a more accomodating group could never have been found. we all contributed and capitalised on our strengths. Although pw has stretched relationships between others, on the contrary, our group has pulled through it all and became more bonded in spite of our different class 'cliques'. We've gone a long way girls, and... WE MADE IT!!!!! :D JUSTICE LEAGUE HAS DONE JUSTICE TO THEMSELVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hee hee hee.. AND, we've not even sick of each other! hee hee.. gonna go out on saturday, hopefully, to do wat gals do best.. shop, movie and jus hang out.. and hopefully catch a glimpse of the models we saw that day.. su called me all excited today and was like, "Bridge! i saw the models in the news! they're comin to Singapore!!!" haha.. :D

    after the loooong but enjoyable though taxing journey.. it ended in an hour.. i'm glad... but the experiences PW has given me are never ceasing and am fully appreciative of it.. i learnt tolerance, respect and, most of all, friendship.. My group's the best one could ever get and once again, i thank ms cheah for giving them to me, and them for making it all possible.. :) THANKS GUYS!!!

    have been slackin today.. woke up in the morn and mum brought me to Chinatown for the lovely 'la mian'... :D had a baaad craving for it.. hee hee.. den slacked n read the bestest book by Lesley Pearse EVER!!! it's called "The Lesser Evil" and is somewhat different from her typical style.. still a magnificant read though.. i'll give the lowdown when i've finished it.... dance tmw.. groans... though 'step up' has made me want to dance again, i dun feel up to having a specific time to wake up again... sighs... windows blinkin non stop.. gotta go! :D

    it's the last lap.. the FINAL DAY!!! one more day to practice then it'll be THE day.. the day we've been preparing ourselves, and i can easily say, done tens of drafts for... ORAL PRSENTATION!!!! Later today, and i'm even gonna veer away from standard English to say that we have to chiong! haha.. i've been possessed man.. :P gonna familiarise myself with the speech and hope for the best! it's taken up a year of my life! and much of my holidays!!!! it better pay off!!! i'm SO lookin forward to the end of it... it'll signify the end of the academic examinations of the year!!!! den again, there's the diploma.. :S

    Did pw the entire day with da Justice League. i really am so thankful for them... "We're all in this together"!! :D whenever one of us is feeling tired or down, the others are thoughtful and compassionate, willing to lend a listening ear and a helping hand. We even went for breakfast together! this experience, though coming to an end, has definitely made us closer, and understand each other better. Three of us r bithday-ing this month! wat an absolute coincidence.. Jialin and i were saying how similar we were to the typical descriptions of scorpios, indecisive, emotional, etc etc.. To those of us hu are having trouble with their mums, or family, here's a little message to you. At this age, it's natural to have misunderstandings. Don't get too affected by it as it's just a part and parcel of life. We're at a stage where we cant exactly click with our parents, and parents are naturally more protective of us, as we start to step out of their protective shells. Cheer up my dear.. :D

    Last note: I love Justice League to bits! Perservere! Let's emerge triumphant together!

    she's here!!!!!! *screams* DREA's here!!! *groans* :P hahahhaha.. the star of The Moment is here!!!! right in the other room, using the better com! :S i have ppl buggin me to use the cam but cant cos drea's using it.. too baaadd! :p hee hee... she's playin 'toxic'... :S went to vivo jus now... SCARED DREA ON THE WAY!!! she actually shrieked!!! hahahah... watched 11pm movie with her... Step Up!!! lovely movie.. makes me feel like dancing! and once the op is over, it would commence! rigourous training for syf and end of year performance thing.. dunno if i'll be in that.. also have geog competition, and choir practices as well as preparing the programmes for the orientation. ahhhh!!! haha.. oh well.. :D love bein busy... but missing someone hu i think has gone to beddy byes.... hee hee..

    had Chinese exam today... oh gosshhh!!! no comments.. shall not predict.. shall just wait and see.. for all the effort i put in after 5 years of not bothering about chinese, i seriously hope it pays off.. like i was tellin ig, if i were to be put into CLB, i want it to be cos i din study, and not cos i studied so hard and somehow cant get a D7... i've never studied harder for chinese... everyone was very supportive, lousy marked my lousy practise scripts, bin tolerated my endless wuestioning, and ig lent his notes.. hope it helps!!!!!!

    yawn... drea still lively and doin the slides.. :S amazing how she remains so energetic! wow... yawnnn...

    i'm flooded by pw... never say the word 'heartlands' or 'painting' in front of me EVER again! I've got the BEST group, thankfully, and am thus still alive.. Chinese is this Friday... i'm only up to 'B' in the vocab handbook and have tons of phrases to memorise for essay!!! my PW speech so far is 3 mins over the time limit! on the bright side, here's a tip on how to cheat friendster's photo limit... GRAB pics!!! i went through my friends list and grabbed those i liked.. now i'm up to 62 pics! hee hee.. wan to upload recent pics of drea in the outfits and all here but blogger doesn't seem very enthusiastic.. hmm.. oh well! supposed to be shortening the already very short but apparently not short enough speech.. it's near impossible!!! good grief...

    here i'd like to dedicate many thanx to my wonderful projectwork mates..

    To those who are feeling vexed, Life throws us many obstacles in our lifetime.. what we have to do is perservere and i quote 'go against fate'. U're right, be a Eustacia and take control. Life is full of people from all walks of life, and if you were to let them defeat you this time, you;d meet so many more after that.. are you gonna give up then? School is about excelling and getting a cert which brightens our future.. that's the basic meaning of school, the advantages are the bonds made there.. don't let frayed friendships or relationships get in the way of you excelling.. People are different, some more sensitive than others, who are more insensitive and sometimes both can be misunderstood. The clash of characters happen often, as does fitting people into a stereotypical mould. You gotta rise to the occasion and take charge of your own life. :) cheers and (since chi exam comin) jia you! :D
